Police seek suspect in Largo bank robberies

Largo police are looking for a man who robbed two Wells Fargo banks and attempted to hold up a third in the past week.Published: January 10, 2013
The first robbery occurred Jan. 3 at the branch at 801 West Bay Drive.
About 3:50 p.m. Wednesday, the same suspect attempted to rob the Wells Fargo at 2515 West Bay Drive, police said. Later that day, he robbed the Wells Fargo at 131st Street and Park Boulevard, police said.
The suspect, seen in surveillance images, was described as 6 feet 2 inches to 6 feet 4 inches tall and about 175 pounds. He appeared to have a thin beard and might be driving a late 1990s to early 2000s, dark-colored, Ford Mustang convertible.
