St. Petersburg police are investigating a third bank robbery in the past 24 hours, this one at a TD branch on Tuesday morning.

Police were called to the bank at 425 22nd Ave. N. at 11:09 a.m.

According to police, the suspect was about 30 years old, 6 feet 2 inches tall with a thin build, close-cut dirty-blond hair and a goatee. He was wearing a white and gray polo shirt, blue jeans and black shoes.

No weapon was seen and a note was passed to the teller, police said. The man ran north from the bank after the robbery.

Investigators did not know whether there was a connection between this robbery and those at SunTrust branches Monday and Tuesday.
