New Port Richey man charged with possession of child porn

A New Port Richey man was arrested Tuesday morning and charged with possessing child pornography, according to the Pasco County Sheriff's Office.Published: January 31, 2013
Duane Carl Sabo, 65, of 4949 Hazner St., is charged with 10 counts of possessing photography of sexual performance by a child and an additional count of possession of a movie containing sexual performances by a child.
A tip was received from the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children indicating that, on Nov. 26 just before midnight, someone using a Juno.com email account sent a zip file containing 97 images of children having sex.
A subpoena was sent to Verizon to obtain the customer's name and address. The information led to Sabo's home. Deputies used a search warrant to search Sabo's laptop and found a file containing the images.
Sabo, according to the arrest report, later confessed to having and sending child pornography by email.
The children depicted were ages 6 to 14, according to deputies.
Sabo remains in the Land O' Lakes Jail. Bail was set at $170,000.
