A Clearwater pedestrian suffered non-life-threatening injuries after being struck by a car Sunday night.

Police say Bonnie Jo Blessing, 45, a transient, was attempting to cross U.S. 19 near Enterprise Road just before midnight when she was struck by a Suzuki Grand Track driven by Marjorie Blackman, 60, of Spring Hill.

Blessing was struck as she stepped off the median to cross the northbound lanes, police say.

Blessing was flown to Bayfront Medical Center with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
