Susan E. Daugherty, working an area near Madeira Beach elementary and middle schools about 7:15 a.m., was treated at the scene after being struck by a bicycle ridden by Hung The Nguyen, 92, deputies say.
According to deputies, Michelle Tallman was driving a 2011 Honda Pilot westbound on American Legion Drive and turning with the green light to go southbound on Duhme Road when she was struck by Kari Monefeldt, who was driving southbound in a 2005 Mazda Tribute.
The southbound traffic was backed up on Duhme Road due to school drop-off traffic, deputies said. As Tallman turned to maneuver into the curb lane, she was struck by Monefeldt, causing her to spin into the path of Hung.
Deputies say Hung sideswiped Daugherty while attempting to avoid the crash.
Tallman was not injured but was cited for careless driving, deputies say. Monefeldt was hospitalized with minor injuries, and Hung was not injured.
