"Quilting Under the Palms" the Quilters Crossing Quilt Club Bi-Annual Quilt Show, will be held from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. at the Countryside Recreation Center, 2640 Sabal Spring Drive, (off of Countryside Boulevard), Clearwater. There will be 200 quilts on display plus wearable art, vendors, free demonstration, a drawing for a new sewing machine and raffle tickets for the club's "Opportunity Quilt." Planning ahead

The LIADO, Italian American Women of Today, is hosting a trip to the David A. Straz Center for the Performing Arts, formerly known as the Tampa Bay Performing Arts Center, on Saturday, April 2. A bus will depart from Publix, 36301 East Lake Road, Palm Harbor at 11 a.m. The trip includes lunch at the Mastero Café followed by the show "The Jersey Boys" at 2 p.m. The cost of $140 is all inclusive. The "Open Your Heart for UPARC" fashion show luncheon will be held at noon Thursday, Feb. 24 in Inverness Hall at Innisbrook Resort and Golf Club, 36750 U.S. 19, Palm Harbor.
