Ex-car dealership manager gets probation in fraud case

NEW PORT RICHEY - A former manager at JC Automax in Land O' Lakes admitted today to taking more than $1,300 from the dealership.Published: October 28, 2010
Keith Koslow, 47, of 5642 Sheer Bliss Loop in Land O' Lakes, pleaded guilty to scheme to defraud. He was sentenced to 24 months of probation and ordered to repay the dealership $1,342.85.
While on probation, Koslow will be prohibited from having a job that directly handles money.
Authorities said Koslow took and cashed 14 checks that were supposed to be paid to customers who overpaid on their vehicle registration. The checks ranged from $14 to $185.
The offenses happened between October 2009 and February while Koslow worked at the dealership at 7411 U.S. 41.
