Pinellas County has tightening water restrictions following an emergency order from the Southwest Florida Water Management District.

As of May 9, the Southwest Florida Water Management District issued an emergency Modified Phase II Severe Water Shortage Order for the Tampa Bay Area.

Tarpon Springs' Caleb Koulianos rounds third and heads toward home in the sixth. The Spongers broke a scoreless tie earlier in the frame but could not extend the lead to 2-0. Koulianos was gunned down at the plate by Winter Haven shortstop Mitchell Piatnik.

It didn’t take long for the nerve-wracking feeling to set in. Tuesday night’s Class 6A region semifinal between Tarpon Springs and Winter Haven was coming down to the wire.
